Harcourt Street Alteration

Posted on 22 June, 2012 09:19am

Our initial designs responded to our clients brief by creating a contemporary rear addition clearly contrasting with the traditional villa. Two offset folded forms clad in sheet metal were to provide the basis of the design. The sheet metal was envisaged to wrap from roof to wall encasing the living zones. These were arranged in a way to direct views over the garden and outdoor terrace while screening the neighbours. The focus of the design is essentially the courtyard space and outlook to screen the neighbours. The project is now underway with RC processing and BC drawings in progress.
