Two modern houses, with references to the local built environment are developed as an eclectic collection of forms and materials developed over time to be built on an established landscaped site. An existing site street frontage is dominated by protected native trees providing a natural seclusion to the new houses beyond and informing the design aesthetic. Designed to maximise summer and winter sun into the courtyards and the internal rooms with natural ventilation provided.
