Devonport Library redevelopment

The design of the library seeks to respond to the buildings adjacent the library by deploying a main façade element to the street frontage, a new landscaped pedestrian urban boulevard and forecourt setting up the entry and a new glazed verandah. The existing library floor area is 618m². The concept delivers a new floor area of 908m² within the constraints of the existing building footprint.
